As part of the Academy of Sustainable and Circular Transformation (Phase A), Smartis has successfully carried out a strategic sustainable and circular transformation of its business. The programme was part of the STKTP NOO 2022–2025 public call, which supports start-ups and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the transition to a circular economy.
The programme is designed to improve resource efficiency, reduce negative environmental impacts and increase the company's productivity. In Phase A, which was the core of the Academy of Sustainable and Circular Transformation programme, we:
- carried out strategic analyses, including an assessment of sustainability and circularity gaps in the company's operations,
- developed the Smartis 2025–2030 Sustainable and Circular Business Strategy,
- upgraded the existing business model with the principles of sustainability and circularity,
- prepared a set of ideas for implementation projects to deliver the Smartis 2025–2030 Sustainable and Circular Business Strategy,
- selected an implementation project and prepared the necessary documentation for it.
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the Recovery and Resilience Facility and by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia. The total value of the project is EUR 34,777.00.
