SmartIS is a partner of the consortium of nine partners, which has been selected for financing through the public tender \”Pilot/demonstration projects – Energy transformation, distribution and management\”.
DEUP project (DEUP – Demonstracija celostnega Energetskega UPravljanja, Demonstration of the integral energy management).
Main activities in the project encompass research, development, demonstration and piloting of innovative solutions in the field of integral energy management (water utility energy and infrastructure management, factory energy management, energy demand and response management). The challenges and impacts of the DEUP project are aligned with the action plan and goals of the national Smart specialisation strategy (S4) – Smart cities and communities. Piloting will be primarily done in small towns of Idrija and Ptuj.
DEUP project has a budget of more than 5 million EUR and will last for 36 months (starting on 15th of June 2017). Consortium of nine partners has been selected for financing through the public tender \”Pilot/demonstration projects – Energy transformation, distribution and management\”.
The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund.
